Two Oceans Aquarium

My absolute favourite part of the Aquarium is the sharks. I’m obsessed with sharks. It’s my special interest. I’d go to the Aquarium and just sit and watch the sharks the entire time. I have Autism and ADHD and the Aquarium is a place I find peaceful. Its one of my happy places.

It’s amazing seeing the different type of animals you can find in the ocean, and the relaxing sense you have when watching those large sharks swim around so gracefully. This is one of my favourite spots in Cape Town!

Because my son is such an information sponge this place is so perfect. He love all the facts he can learn about the sea life and creatures. It is also so beautiful and all the different encounters makes it an unforgettable experience. We will jump at the chance to visit again. Constance Herklaas

I love the aquarium. My son is 5 years old and have been going every year since he was born. Best family hangout spot. It’s cooling and relaxing. Staff are friendly and the whole set up is amazing. We love seeing the sharks.

Myself and my husband have not been to the aquarium for over 10 years . But When we were there all those years ago, it was truly a magical experience. I enjoyed it so much even as a adult. The wide range of creatures to see is mind blowing. Now I have a 8 year old, 6 year old and a 3 month baby, and all Ive been wanting to do since we moved to Cape Town is take my boys . I love the learning experience. I love seeing the different animals. It’s so educational. I love the scenery. I love how clean the Aquarium is. Definitely one of the best Aquariums in the world. Staff are so nice and vibrant and create an awesome atmosphere.

Absolutely crazy our the 2 oceans aquarium. Their staff are absolutely amazing, friendly,helpful and informative. The penguins are my favourite they so cute the way the waddle. I’d love to take my son to go check them out

I loved getting up close to these magnificent creatures in the see-through glass! The animals are so well looked after and very happy!

Two Oceans Aquarium never fails to amaze me. Not only are the animals and plants amazing but the staff too! Incredibly passionate people who will answer any question you have about the animals. Love going here every single time!

A favourite birthday outing of mine, it always makes the day special and guarantees hours of fun for all ages. I enjoyed it there as a kid and now as a twenty-something being there still fills me with wonder at our beautiful ocean and inspires my will to protect it. The tunnel area, which makes you feel like you’re walking along the sea floor, is probably my favourite spot altogether.

My daughter was practically raised there because I’ve been taking her there every year for her birthday 🎂 since she was 2. It’s very educational and a great experience

The best part of the aquarium is going to relax and take your mind off everything and enjoy watching the different fish in the ocean. Don’t forgot about the penguins. They are amazing.

I took my son to the aquarium twice for his birthday. The best choice I ever made. There’s a lovely play area and I love the feeding time so I get to see all the fishes. I love the atmosphere

I visit the aquarium at least once a year, never getting bored of the astounding beauty of what is under the water surface. My favourite exhibit is definitely the I&J Exhibit, where some rehabilitating or rescued turtles live in. As a future marine biologist this place is my aquatic wonderland.

Love going to the Aquarium! I’ve got such fond memories of this place as a kid and now I get to share that with my children. Love being able to see the seahorses upfront and watching the kids in Awe of the sea life. Can never get tired of going to the Aquarium.

I could sit all day in front of the tank with the ragged tooths. I love the aquarium, interactive spots as well as knowledgeable staff and all the animals are happy and healthy. Love it

I visit the two oceans aquarium every year on my birthday. And I live seeing the progress that is made year after year. And I will never stop.

What I love most about two oceans aquarium is the fact my kids got to learn a lot about the fishes under water. Don’t get me started on how much they loved the penguins and got to experience to be in their presence and how well they explained everything about the penguins.

The best experience especially on a rainy day. The displays are so beautiful and educational. What’s great about this aquarium is the conservation of the ocean and animals and education around it. These people really care about the ocean life and rehabilitate turtles!! The tunnel and jelly fish are my favourite.
